Google Q2/ Here's Google's plan to rid the world of cyberattacks

Google 於美國股市 17 日盤後公佈 2014 年第 2 季（4-6月）財報：合併營收年增 22%（季增3%）至 159.6 億美元、扣除廣告佣金後為 126.7 億美元；本業每股盈餘達 6.08 美元，高於一年前同期的 4.96 美元。根據彭博社的調查，分析師原先預估 Google 4-6 月扣除廣告佣金後的營收為 123 億美元、本業每股盈餘為 6.24 美元。

Google 第 2 季每次點擊成本（Cost-Per-Click；CPC；客戶在 Google 網站上登廣告的費用）年減 6%、連續 11 季度呈現年減。Google 表示，第 2 季匯損金額達 9,300 萬美元、當中的 6,700 萬美元是跟外匯現金流避險計畫有關。

Google 第 2 季研發費用年增 27% 至 22.38 億美元、研發營收佔比自一年前的 13% 升至 14%。Google 全球全職員工人數達 52,069 人（48,584 人來自 Google 事業、3,485 人來自Motorola Mobile）、高於截至 2014 年 3 月 31 日為止的 49,829 人（46,170 人來自 Google 事業、3,659人 來自 Motorola Mobile）。

Google 第 2 季終止營運部門（摩托羅拉移動）淨損 6,800 萬美元、遜於一年前的獲利金額（4.54 億美元）。Google 在 2014 年 1 月 29 日宣布將摩托羅拉移動賣給聯想（Lenovo Group）。

截至 2014 年 6 月 30 日為止 Google 擁有的現金、約當現金以及短期可交易有價證券為 612.0 億美元、高於 2013 年 12 月 31 日為止的 587.2 億美元。

Google 第 2 季美國以外地區營收達 93.3 億美元，營收佔比為 58%、高於去年第 2 季的 55% 以及 2014 年第 1 季的 57%。

Google 股票（GOOGL.us）17 日在正常盤下跌 1.66%、收 580.82 美元；盤後上漲 1.45% 至 589.25 美元。
