蘋果測試iTV 傳找韓面板廠

【賴宇萍╱綜合外電報導】據《韓國先驅報》（Korea Herald）引述多位分析師消息報導，蘋果（Apple）已找上南韓1家面板廠，為其智慧電視iTV生產65吋與77吋的面板樣品，預計iTV明年將可量產上市。

明年可望量產上市

曾 有傳聞指出，在多次推延之後，iTV終於可望在今年問世，但消息人士透露，上市計劃又推延到明年，除了受限於內容供應短缺外，蘋果試圖從 LCD（Liquid Crystal Display，液晶顯示器）螢幕轉換為OLED（Organic Light-Emitting Diode，有機發光二極體）也是原因之一。
IBK證券分析師李升茂表示，這家南韓面板廠正與蘋果聯手生產65吋iTV用的OLED面板，不過目前仍處於測試階段，仍不確定蘋果最終是否會用該面板量產傳聞已久的iTV。
另有消息人士透露，按照原訂計劃，原本大約有200萬台搭載65吋與77吋LCD螢幕的iTV將在今年下半年上市，但蘋果員工去年10月考察完這家南韓面板廠後，決定將iTV延至2015年上市。
若蘋果確定選用OLED面板，報導中的這家南韓廠商將成為蘋果iTV的首要供應商，因為據傳供應iPhone 6面板的日本廠商日本顯示器（Japan Display）與夏普（SHARP）仍無法量產用於電視機的OLED面板。
