Google雲端平台上市 台灣為亞洲首發站

〔記者甘芝萁／台北報導〕Google今天宣布正式在亞洲推出「Google雲端平台」（Google Cloud Platform），並將台灣視亞洲推出的首站。「Google雲端平台」是Google企業服務中的一項產品，提供企業用戶、開發人員各種雲端功能可使用，並有中文化管理工具、技術網頁及合作夥伴支援。

Google雲端平台提供的服務分為「運算」（Compute）、「儲存」（Storage）、「應用服務」（App Services）三大類。運算內包含Compute Engine、App Engine兩項；儲存內包含Cloud Storage、Cloud SQL、Cloud Datastore三項；應用服務內包含BigQuery、Cloud Endpoints兩項等功能。其中Google Compute Engine、Cloud Storage、Cloud SQL等應用功能選擇台北做為首發地區，讓亞洲地區企業用戶可就近使用世界級雲端基礎架構平台服務，並且使用在地化管理工具且享有完整技術支援。

目前全球已有超過500萬家企業採用Google Apps企業版，同時也有超過475萬組應用程式透過Google雲端平台服務來運作；台灣交通部公路總局、台灣地理資訊中心也是Google地球企業版用戶；憤怒鳥開發商ROVIO、照片聊天行動應用Snapchat等為採用Google雲端平台的知名企業。
