蘋果持續投資美國國內供應鏈，創造不少工作機會。美聯社

【賴宇萍╱綜合外電報導】蘋果（Apple）持續提高產品在美國製造的比率，日前更首度公布了美國國內供應鏈的支出數據。蘋果聲明中指出，去年向美國7000多家供應商投入了超過30億美元（900億元台幣），並在美國創造了數萬個工作機會。

創造數萬工作機會

蘋果資深副總裁威廉斯（Jeff Williams）上周五與美國總統歐巴馬（Barack Obama）就「SupplierPay」計劃舉行座談會後，蘋果首度公布了在美國國內供應鏈的支出數據。
Mac Pro是蘋果在美國組裝的首款產品。蘋果在聲明中指出，Mac Pro的鋁製外殼，來自位於伊利諾州Elk Grove Village的小公司Metal Impact，與Mac Pro的相關工作，為Metal Impact創造了18個新工作崗位，也為這家創立於1959年的公司帶來了數百萬美元的營收。
