目前 Google 已經在波多黎各完成了氣球的測試工作，首個正式發射升空的氣球將在印度尼西亞升空，2016 年年內完成。Google 公司表示 2016 年將在全球各地設置高空網路氣球的站點，構成一個完整的網路接入體系。
