〔本報訊〕馬航班機失聯進入第六天，為數眾多的馬來西亞民眾利用Google Map搜尋馬航失聯海域，一有新奇發現立即引發一陣騷動，有人堅信透過Google Map發現班機蹤影，立刻通報政府單位。由於案例實在太多，政府部門不勝其擾，迫使Google馬來西亞發言人呼籲馬國民眾：「擔心馬航MH370的人們 請不要依靠Google Map去搜尋，因為它並不是即時回傳的衛星影像。」

　熱心的民眾告訴馬來西亞《星報》，他在Google Map上截圖，上面清晰地顯示出飛機的影像。大多數網友也都認同這就是失聯的馬航班機。這名頗為擔心的讀者打電話給《星報》，指他在越南胡志明市西南方的 一座小島上空發現了一架飛機。另有名讀者透過電子郵件，稱飛機出現在馬來西亞登加奴一座水壩上空。他們同時都提供Google Map上的截圖予以證明。

　Google馬來西亞的發言人表示：「的確，在世界各地的多個位置都可能存在飛機的影像，但那並不是即時的影像。這些影像是第三方來源幾週前或者幾個月前提供給我們的。」

　發言人也強調：「這些影像是被拍下來的，或許當時當地正好有飛機在飛行途中，絕不能把看見飛機的地點，當做是發生意外的地點。」
